An expired passport is always found out too late

Never Forget keeps your important papers with their expiry dates, and warns you while there is still time to act.

No card required. Three documents tracked for free, alerts included.

One card per document

Each document fits in a short card, and that is enough:

Its expiry date

The only piece of information that triggers anything. Everything else is convenience.

The attached file

PDF, photo or scan. The document is there when someone asks for it, even far from home.

Its category

Identity, vehicle, housing, health: your papers are grouped by category instead of piling up in one long list.

What is coming up shows itself

A document close to its date flags itself in the list: you can see what is pressing without opening anything.

Warned three times, not once

A single alert always lands at the wrong moment. So there are three, and they are not spaced at random: a week to book an appointment, three days to gather the paperwork, the day before so the appointment itself is not forgotten.

Notifications arrive in the morning, at 8am, in your own time zone. An expiry wakes nobody at midnight, and does not wait until evening to speak up either.

Document alerts are switched on separately from the others in your notification settings.

The document and its date, together

A date without the document means hunting for the paper; a document without its date warns of nothing. Together they are enough to get it done the moment the alert lands, from your phone, without going home first.

Papers with no date belong here too

A diploma, a birth certificate, the boiler manual: with no expiry date they trigger no alert, but they are there the day an office asks for them. They live in the same place, with or without a deadline.

Available to those who need it

A household’s papers concern more than one person. The shared board gives access to documents to whoever you open it to — a partner, a carer — through a link, with no account to create. Opening the Documents section takes the Pro plan; a free board shares its tasks.

What it costs

Pro — €5 a month

Unlimited documents, and the rest of the app with it: routines, themed lists, health tracking. €39 a year.

Common questions

Where are my files stored?
On European servers, in a space accessible only to your account and to the people you open your board to. They are neither analysed nor passed to third parties. The details are in the privacy policy.
Which file formats can I attach?
PDF, JPG, PNG and the common document formats. A photo taken with your phone works perfectly well: it is the most frequent case.
What happens when a document expires?
It stays in your list, flagged as expired. Nothing is deleted: you replace the file and set the new date once the renewal is done.
Three documents — is that actually useful?
It is enough for the three that matter, often the passport, the ID card and the insurance. Beyond that, the Pro plan makes them unlimited.

Three papers tracked, free

Start with the one whose expiry date you do not know. That is usually the right one.
